i love this, i saw steps like this at a beach in santa rita, guam, it led into small pool of water surrouned by stone walls, it was meant for scuba divers but i used to always sit there.

i took a picture of stairs like this years ago in Montana... Flathead lake. almost the same composition! it reminds me of my youth...

I find this to be very symbolic photo that can be interpreted in many ways, steps and water have got so much symbolic value... The composition is really beautiful and I think the ammount of contrast and detail is excellent.
