Description
Inspired by “Silverwing” and done on a train ride to visit my parents.

The story:
Charon (the bat) has found his friend Seth (the Corvidae) desperate in a tree.
Seth had done something he wasn’t aware of and his Corvus-friends dump him without explanation (from his point of view). One even had the nerve to accuse him HE had deserted THEM as they “needed” him. Now Seth fells hurt, confused and does not really understands the world any longer. This is how Charon had found him. The sad thing is, Charon is probably the last real friend Seth has. For Charon the only thing left to say, to comfort him is, “Don’t be so sad my friend...! Everything will turn out right… you’ll see, and you have Eris and me! We may be only bats, but we’ll never leave you alone!”
