Description
It's a character I was thinking of for a while...kinda followed up from this picture i did ages ago:The girl is blind (or nearly blind) but even so, she still loves painting.
(it's really rough, coz i just quickly colored this sketch for secret santa references. ^,^;; just ignore the feet)

It's simple and a bit rough but I like the paint "splatter" effect at the bottom and the silky melon green blended chiffon like dress. It suits her well.

love the use of color, whimsical, yet sad. Very good contrast. I know you said ignore the feet but a reference photo would fix that right up. And remove the text, if you cannot convey the message of your piece with out the use of text ( except in the case of typography and true graphic design) then something is wrong with the composition and subject matter. This piece would be much more interesting with out the text. the viewer wouldn't know the reason the figure was upset, which would create emotional drama. It just doesn't need text.
