I've had that sketch lie around quite a long time now... then got inspired by =I-NetGraFX 's latest work to try myself at matte painting. I'm ok with the result, but took way too long... about 80% color and a few stock Photos, original width >4000px. Foreground trees are from I-netGraFX.Not too Sci-Fi this time,i wanted to integrate more landscape parts. Anyways, i hope you like

I saw this on the front page & I just had to come for a closer look-I'm not disappointed!
This looks a little like the Star Wars planet of Coruscant to me (that's a compliment, by the way!), but it's also a little reminiscent of Naboo with the lilac waterfalls, too!
This is going straight onto my favourites list & your going on my watchlist because I liked the look of other things in your gallery just by seeing the thumbnails!

I love the landscape. Of course, itβs a vision of the future, but it looks so real β I could walk to that waterfall, travel to the cities in the distance and live in one of the towers.
Bizarrely, it does remind me of some of the twilight views over South Yorkshire, England, from the A1 (the Great North Road).

I really like it! I dont know if the black strip at the top of it is intended but i think it looks good! anyway, i think you did integrate more landscape parts and it DOES look very good (and professional) *sigh* if we were all like you... heh

Not perfect maybe, some details are a bit unrealistic... the waterfalls for example... where exactly is the water comming from?
And also the reflections of the closest buildig look great, but can`t be cause on this side of the building, there is wood/forest... so why is it reflection whats on the other side?
But over all, really well done. Looks great, thats for sure.

Thats your best one. Your previous prints seemed to have buildings that looked to clean, but this one, they seem to blend in nicely.

It reminds me of Vancouver BC canada except I dont see any mountians and the watter is on the wrong side. As for the painting, its figging awesome!

heh i like it... but the first thing that struck me was the similarities with I-NetGraFx stuff.
I like it though.
One comment i may make is that the reflexions on the buildings dont seemt to be reflecting anything from their side and instead seem to just be distorted veiws of whats behind them. Apart from that its great.
