can you believe it?! IT'S NOT DIGITAL! *dies* this is all from my brain meats. no photo reference used, though i tried to make him look as real as possible.... which is super freaking hard on such a tiny scale. oTL
original size: 3.5x2.5in (it's a bristol trading card!)
HB mechanical, 3B, 6B, 8B pencils.
black marker for the border.
man, scanning destroys values. levels readjusted in PS CS2, but i don't think i got them as dark as the original. *shrug*

Oh yes he does look almost real. I love the feel of it. And geez i can't believe you can do all that with a mechanical pencil.

Apart from the overlarge nose and the slightly too short skull.... this is incredible. xD Really great work on the eyes and the shading! And the mouth too, that's always one of the hardest parts :0 Very nice indeed.
