Description One species of plover is said to hop into a crocodile's open mouth and pick bits of food and parasites from between the croc's teeth. This may be just a legend, since there have been no documented cases of this actually happening.

Still, it's an interesting concept. In lieu of it, here's a group of Egyptian plovers having a casual snack and commenting on the infamous crocodile scene from "The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride". They may be small, but they certainly aren't easily scared...

Crocodile: Hey now, they're just kids. They don't know how to handle us.

Plover: Yeah, but we are smaller than they are and we sit in your mouths!

Crocodile: Just wait until they grow up. Then you will see why Lions are the ruling species.

Thanks a lot! I'm actually still struggling with anatomy as well as perspective, but I think I can safely say that I am improving on both.

LOVE IT!
Your crocodile and plovers steal the show for me. The croc has such a lovely hooded, sunken eye. Funny how crocodiles can look so lazy and then spring into action. Your drawing work with african animals is giving you some killer anatomy skills and I ADORE your humorous pictures so please keep it up!
