Description
The scene where Father Merrin is in Hatra, Iraq (not too far from where I lived when I initially saw the film) and has the foreboding vision of Pazuzu has always been one of the most evocative scenes to me. While drawing Pazuzu, I realized how much it looked and felt like statuary from Mike Mignola's artwork.. so I tried to go that route in homage to both the film and Mignola.
