In a pseudo alternated universe, the UNCF - SBY remake-verse, mass produced a line of unmaned automated combat satilites and starships. They were cheaper to construct, and removed humans from equasion. Battle Satilites were the answer for the United Nations Cosmo Force to send thier first generation spaceships to fight an interplanetary war with Martian Indepence Navy; who had superior crewed ships to fight Earth's industrial might.

The year is in the early 2140s. Many years before the Garmilas-Earth war of 2191-2199.

Mangonel is a medieval stone-throwing weapon; the naming convention for future EDF "battle satilites". It's also a pun, since man-is-gone, of this ship.
