Description
Cure Scarlet (Towa Akagi/Princess Hope Delight Towa, her real name) an adorable, sweet, spoiled, cute, kind, calm, mature, refined, feminine, lady-like, graceful, serious, naive, innocent, brave, determinant, responsible, pure, selfless, mysterious, nice and introvert girl who dreams of one day to become a graceful violinist like her older brother Kanata. Before meeting the other girls, she was the princess of the Hope Kingdom, but when she was a little girl, she was kidnapped and brainwashed by Dyspear, renaming her Twilight, making her believe that she is her daughter and forcing her into becoming her servant. Years later and during the events of the series, Haruka meets her when she hears her practicing with her violin and it is her who teaches Haruka to play the violin while still following the orders of Dyspear. She first became the enemy of the Pretty Cure and mocked them telling them they were not real princesses, but phonies, fakes and false. Later, Kanata and the Pretty Cure confronted her and Kanata realized that she was his missing sister and with the help of the Pretty Cures purifying abilities and Haruka/Cure Flora playing the violin, they were able to free her from Dyspear’s mind control. She joins the girls and becomes a student of Noble Academy, until Dyspear once again returns and tries to capture her and feed upon her despair. The Pretty Cures arrive and start fighting her, until Haruka released her and she decides she is not going to despair again and that’s when she manages to transform into “The Princess Of Scarlet Flames” Cure Scarlet and fights back against Dyspear being welcomed in the team and befriending the girls. During the series, she has no idea how to live outside a castle but with the help of the other girls influence and friendship, she turns into a more kind and joyous person and later, she is reunited with her brother Kanata and she also manages to save her kingdom and her parents. She continues fighting to protect the Earth and to retrieve her kingdom as the princess of hope, helping other people to achieve and protect their dreams and to accomplish her own dreams to make them come true.
She lives with her parents, the king and queen of the Hope Kingdom and Kanata, her older brother.
I think Towa is one of the cutest and sweetest of all the Pretty Cure girls; I like her adorable and naive personality and also her beautiful design of her dresses when she is transformed and how she represents a Phoenix and the incarnation of hope and courage. She is among my favorite Red Pretty Cures.
