Trying explain the scene… Well Virgil wanted to be alone for some reasons, one of them is because in this festival will be full of people and that makes him feel uncomfortable. Other thing is he knows how he is, annoying and a little melancholic sometimes, so he don’t want screw up the festival (thats what he think)
so he decided to be alone, even he hates to be like this, is better.
