Crazy shot! =_= It looks almost surreal. The blur is very successful, which is awesome..cause usually I hate blurry pictures XD I do think the composition would be a little bit more balanced had the ride been moved a little more to the right of the picture (so that the little blue sliver of sky on that side was covered up) but that's just a small thing. Great job!

Great colors. Great capture of movement and emotion. I can just hear the screams of those riding and see them spinning around. This piece really fuels one's imagination. Excellent.

You chosen exactly the speed needed so that the people are blurry and shaken and the lights in the center not! Amazing shot! The colors match in harmony, cool picture!

This is a pretty k00l shot! The composition is supperb and the image quite clear for a long exposure of moving objects.
All in all, a vision of a world that we are not used to see. Well done.

if u had a longer exposer i think it would look 10X better... if u get back there, bring ur tripod, and have the exposer for abour 20 or 30 seconds

TazGold [2005-09-21 22:35:37 +0000 UTC]

very interesting shot. You've managed to capture the speed of the facility because of the blur, and still there is a shape to at least some of the humans in the picture. And the rest is clear as if should it be standing still, giving an impression that the moving things are those who ride, and not everything around: this is the one on the grounds perspective, not the one who rides. All I can mention is that in some areas where the carousel is shaded in some sort, it looks a bit strange. But that doesn't really affect the picture.
The colours are brilliant, the angle as well. Suppose the owners would buy this shot from you to use for a catalog or something, because it's really pretty. And shots like these aren't shots you can plan, you need to have the right camera at the right place, at the right time. Be proud!

I like these!
When I was a child I was so in love with these roundabouts. In German we call them "Chain Roundabouts" but I don't know the English word.
It's great to swirl throught the air and take a look from above onto the people standing around and have this great smell in your nose from the sweets and food and hear the loud jingle music...
This photo does reflect all these things!
It's a great job! !

alrite what the hell is the point in calling photography art? you are point and clicking, thats not art thats murder...

First off I understand that you are trying to insult my work (I asked you to), yet you are not insulting my work but photography as a whole. For me photography is less of an art and more of a hobby. I enjoy doing it and sharing the result with others. Compared to most other forms of art it most likely takes the least amount of talent. Next time try and insult my work not the form I do it in.
