I wish that we could meet again,
Amidst the autumns weary end
With sky beneath our feet, forever crying.
And in reflections birds and clouds, flying

Autumn, ships burn into the sky.
Autumn, take me, ever so high.
Where, worry has gone awry.
Autumn, I ask you why?
Autumn, it is darkness and despair.
Clawing at my soul, ever bare
Autumn, life is too unjust and so unfair,

Autumn, we must end this weary, bleak affair.

Incredible. The color scheme is probably the best that I can imagine, and the texture of the scene has exceptional depth. You see, I live in an area where storms occur fairly frequently, and you have captured the dim, ominous intrigue of this type of atmosphere perfectly. Everything within the image is done with great skill make no mistake, but the clouds and overall color . . . instantaneous favorite there.

Absolutely gorgeous piece. I love the overall purple color scheme, well, purple/blue/gray. It feels cold.
It makes me feel like the girl is some kind of spirit of autumn, plunging into winter as part of her dies in the process.
Also, I really like the city in the distance- it's foreboding and kinda spooky.

I would like to ask you whether you use some reference images directly in this? [ i mean without painting, just superimposition], like in a matte painting. I think its been done on the layer of rocks below the pond, dont know.
I hope you dont mind me asking this question. I am not doubting your talent.
The composition is in itself brilliant, and that edited version by uribaani looks superb!! maybe u guys should team up.. haha..
Cloud/smoke/fog composition couldv been a little better in some low lying areas, rest is too good.

OMG, I don't even know where to start. The clouds gong towards the sun is a very good effect and the sun is AMAZING, it looks to be in it's supernova phase, awesome. The towers/buildings/rocks that are shrouded by the clouds give a towering sort of an effect which is very nice, the rocks each unique and it's own object gives the picture such a real look. The girl seems to be stepping into the water from walking on top of it? I could be wrong, but it also seems that her wings are deteriorating [I think they're wings?] which coupled with her foot going into the water give her a kind of defeated look. The girl herself fits in perfectly, she is beautiful and has very nice hair [from what I can tell] and the weird tower seems to be beckoning her and to be the cause of her frustration. The rocks coming out of the water also add more to the looming effect and overall feeling of her world coming in on her. It's a frickin masterpiece, I'm sorry if I ate up your work but it is one of the most beautiful works i've seen in a while [I was at the MOMA yesterday too] You are a true artist my friend.

this is very good, i love the way you put in the colors and textures. the poem also is so meaningful to me... i've just lost on of my parakeets, her name is autumn.. she died awhile ago and i couldn't revive her at all..
