Description
This is from a concept design class I'm taking at the school I'm teaching at. Instructor Christian Gossett( Red Star creator) had everybody 'redesign' Skynet from the latest Terminator.So here it its: a walking, destroying machine factory whose mother might have been the Queen Alien!
I used many elements from the films, as well as Transformers, to piece this thing together. About four hours work, thanks for lookin'!

Yep, the Xenomorph Queen is the first thing I thought about. But how do you people can paint beautiful things like this in just a few hours it's beyond me. Or I just really like to take my time and waste a few days on a painting.

OMG so cool! When I first saw this I was like " What is that thing?!" And then I saw the artist's commnet and I was like " Oh, it's Skynet!"

very good job... my personal vision about the Skynet is not like this... but this picture is very nice...

My only critique of this is two fold; it would look better without the terminator v at the bottom, remove that completely. And also it doesn't quite capture the darkness and despair terminator is about, least not for me. It's a fantastic picture and far from anything I could ever draw up, but it just feels oddly un-terminatorish. Watch the scene where the humans are being bundled into that processing facility, see the subtle use of darkness, spotlights and red LED eyes/ beams and I think u'll see what I mean.
