Description
One of my favourite mini-series of all time is “The Mists of Avalon”. There’s a character there named Raven, a priestess of Avalon who has taken an oath of silence. I had this image on my head of Raven opening the misty curtains that protected Avalon to lure another priestess to the magic island. I added some faeries and pixies to make the scene less serious.

In the words of Gwenhwyfar: "I dreamt of you in Glastonbury. You... you opened a curtain into Avalon, and lifted me in."

I drew this while listening to "The Mystic's Dream" by Loreena McKennitt, which is featured in the mini-series.
