*PLEASE VIEW THE HIGHER RESOLUTION IMAGE*Sorry I haven't posted in a while everyone.
This is Birthday present for: I made titled "A Fly In The Dark". It was requested I include wings in the picture, and the rest was up to my imagination. So the concept of the final picture is that of a superhero type character with pyrokinesis wandering through a scifi scape. I wanted to evoke a sense of wonder of what reason he might have for producing giant wings of fire, and perhaps also make a viewer wonder what could have made such large webs

Oh definitely, I'm really surprised how much shear exposure a DD provides it's really great, although since this is just a hobby and not my profession exposure really isn't too important

A small critique though, the leg on the right seems to niggle me, I can't work out where the foot is positioned 3-dimensionally.

Awsomely cool! From up close his wings look like a bunch of feathers and also up close i can see him holding part of his wings. I like the idea of flamming wings.

I looked at what you did through CGTalk...and I can't even fathom how to say how great of a job you did on this (though I did like the bluer version better). I had no idea that projects like this take so long to do. You're an inspiration to me.

well, I doubt that it takes most people that long... I'm just really busy, and it's only the second time I've ever painted something... so It's bound to take me longer.

I say, that's bloody cool.
I'm a sucker for images with powerful symmetry, and this really fits that. And the colours.. wow. Strong orange, strong blue, and ittle bits of purple. Fantastic.
Is this Photoshop? Something about the brush for the wings.. a custom set?

Yeah it's all photoshop
Nope actually I just used the default soft round brushes along with the default smudge tool for the wings.
