her name does have a meaning!
if you're curious, rapture of the deep is a phenomena that happens to deep divers, medically called nitrogen narcosis, where the diver inhales too much nitrogen gas. this results in what feels like being drunk to the diver, with hallucinations, vertigo, paranoia, and other negative side effects.
similarly - martini's law: every ten meters of depth is equivalent to drinking one martini once descended past a twenty meter depth.

Basic: Martini may be small for her breed, but don't let her hear you saying so. While shy to her handlers, generally well-behaved under saddle, and curious about children and pets, Marti has never put up with insults. She's a halter horse because she's got the attitude for it, and she'd never forgive anyone who insults her looks. She's got a very prominent tail bone much like an Arabian, but she's more thickly built. She's also got a nicely sloping neck and a pretty head on her shoulders, but those eyes flash like the devil himself if she's displeased.
Quirks:
History: In all honesty, an accident. Holly put in her name for an auction that the Association was hosting, not expecting it to go anywhere at all. When her number was called a few weeks later and she was informed of her new mare... she thought it was a prank. Eventually things got sorted out, but Holly is too busy to keep up with training a new horse, so for now she has no specific handler.
