Description
The Type 1 Heavy Cruiser or Alpha–class Heavy Cruiser is 710m long and the first HCR designed after the Cylon Revolt. 180 were planned but only 131 completed. It armed with 20 Galactica-style turrets and several point–defense guns. Like all Third–Rate Warships it doesn’t carried any Vipers just Raptor and Shuttle. Like all Cruiser, either Heavy or Light, it designed for offense.

The Heavy Cruiser Aach is an example of a Type 1 Heavy Cruiser.
