For those of you who don't know, today marks the 25th Anniversary of the Challenger Disaster, where cold temperatures hindered the function of the O-ring gaskets on one the right-hand side rocket booster, leading it to rupture the external fuel tank, which caused the shuttle to break apart under tremendous aerodynamic stress. Challenger was to take the first citizen into space, teacher Christa McAulliffe.

I made this piece a while back just for the sheer heck of it, but I feel it's acquired a deeper meaning since then, and I should show it.

Rest in peace Michael J. Smith, Dick Scobee, Ronald McNair, Ellison Onizuka, Gregory Jarvis, Judith Resnik, and Christa McAuliffe.
