Octavia and Vinyl had difficulty concieving, after a year and a half and what must have been their 100th time trying while using a Gender swap spell cast by Twilight, the couple finally succeded.

Octavia carried the foal to term.

Naming of the foal came down to if it was a colt Vinyl would name them and if it was a filly Octavia would. Needless to say when Bass kicker was born Vinyl was extatic. Octavia wasnt initially thrilled wiith the name Vinyl chose for them, she eventually warmed to it.

Bassie did take some classical instrument classes in his foalhood.

Octavia, even in his late teens still refers to him as 'Bassie'. He hated this intitally but as he got older absolutley adored it.

Bassie while in his preteen and teen years was a bully. Not a sad backstory bully either, just being an absolute arse for the sake of it matching his 'edgy' aesthetic.

This dude was a bit of a fboy, sleeping with mares left right and center with no regard for their feelings or the reprecussions..

Despite his mysoginistic attitude in his adolecent years, he began a period of self introcpetion where he bagan denouncing his previous ideals and started dating stallions.

His cutie mark was earned from his tallent with a drum kit discovered in the garage of his mamas house. He then started a cringey garage band which became his primary revenue generator after years of practice and self marketing. Both his mothers, while supportive of his life choices, made it clear to him that they wouldnt abuse their notoriety to increase his success. Octavia and Vinyll stating that the journey of growing his musical career is just as (if not more) important that the sucess itself.

This dude acually has a crazy make-up obsession and intensive self care routine (liberty spikes are hard af to maintain).

He gets his tail shaven regularily so as it is just the bone.
