I've always felt very connected to ancient Egypt, for those of you who don't know anything about the book of the dead, it's basically a cheat guide to get you through the perilous afterlife and into the final hall of judgement, where Anubis, Maat, Osiris and the devourer of souls awaits you. They weigh your heart against the feather of truth. If it balances out, you get to go to the field of reeds (the oasis of the afterlife, a heaven of sorts) otherwise the beast will devour your soul (Yay!).

This hold particular significance for me as a Libra, and at the time I felt like I was constantly weighing my heart against my rigid logic, and it was left me with an empty hopless sense of abandonment. purposelessness.

I'm also obsessed with the zodiac, haha, so that's why that's there.
