Story:
Max was so confident taking Stone Scout into the ring. The stallion was practically made for this competition. The lights on him were blue, and glow-y, perfect for setting him off in the dim lighting of the cave. The dim light drifted in from above, not too bright to fight against him ascents.
Confidently Max clips the lead, swatting Stones behind lightly so the stallion trots into the arena. Horror upon horrors, the blind horse flaunts around the arena, from one end the next, missing the light streaming in. Fortunately, Stone prances nicely, and the times he's in the light, he's a star...and than he's out of the light and dancing through the shadows like a tone of synchronized fireflies.
When finally he calls Stone out, Max turns to grin at his rivals, two of which are from his own stable. Both girls, Celia and Katrina cast each other unimpressed glances, as if they'd been practicing their whole lives for that moment, despite never getting along well.
He just grins in return, until he sees what the girls have in store.
