Description
This is Sephera, a sea serpent dragon. She roams the sea, swimming through the depths and caverns, hunting for shiny gems and artifacts from ship wrecks. On occasion, she'll head to the surface and sun in lagoons and shallows.

She's quite curious of land dwellers and their world, and isn't afraid to be seen by them. The locals near her lagoon know her well, and will inform travelers about her, so that their not in shock when a sea dragon pops up to greet them. She means well, but tends to be overly excited when she meets someone new.

She likes to hear the stories of the world outside of the waters reach, and is more than happy to recount tales and stories from the waters below. She might even be willing to trade some for rare things she's found in shipwrecks, so long as there's something of equal value in return. Don't take her kindness for granted though, unless you wish to evoke the wrath of the sea and storms.

I drew this character for mermay challenge this year and finally finished coloring her. I wanted her to stand out against the color of the water and fit in with the sea life that live in coral beds and reefs. I also figured, she's not a shy creature, so she's not afraid to be seen. So, I used bright teal, orange, and yellows to really make her stand out.
