I dont see exe or ryusei as rockman games XD
they use just a name, at least exe used robot masters and reploids to make their navis. but I liked the games as well, even not being megaman XD

rockman dash IS megaman because it have correlation with th eother sagas ^.- but it could also be another game

Yeah, the EXE games are good. I sorta see them as Rockman, because it shows a "what-if" path, but Ryuusei... no.

I consider DASH Megaman games. At least we can see the connections in the timeline now... even if we were left with a huge cliffhanger. At least with Zero and ZX we can sorta see how DASH fits in.

well originally dash fitted perfectly, so zero did. but one day capcom decided do htings whitout ifamune- or whatever is hsi name never remember, and then was when all the storyline went wrong xD. Ifamune had to do lots of odd stuff to make it coherent, so, after rockman zero 2 and rockman zero 6 things went way to odd

and in 9... sigma was suposed to be killed by cyber elves, and then appears that Lumine and say that he is dead (tecnically he dont say that in the english version but somehow zero believe he did xD)... I was like ... WTF?! and where are the new generation reploids in zero saga?

Exe saga saids that in certain moment in the time, they had to choose between Light - internet and Willy - robots. But in the original saga was not this way, both light and willy were in robotic XD

anyway that kinda researched that can change their fields so easily (willy become an internet expert instead of keep on researching in robots) only appears in fiction XD

You mean Inafune. XD I remember. The X series was supposed to end at X5 which would then continue onto Zero 1, and then Capcom released X6, so he had to modify his storyline a bit. Some people say that X6-X8 and Command Mission are another branching timeline and don't accept them as canon, but I wonder whether all new-gens were destroyed so that they would stop going Maverick and were never produced again.

But if you read Dr. Light's CD in Rockman & Forte, it says that he likes the Internet. =0 And in the original saga, it never really mentioned their pasts, only that they were experts in the field of robotics. But maybe they were really young when they had to choose between Internet or robots, and when they did, the other switched their field until they became experts. I mean, Dr. Wily still builds robots in the EXE saga, they're just not nearly as complicated.

Lol, but as a computer science student, I must tell that, computer webs are totally different to robotics (I always wondered if I would be able to study something related with robotics but I had not a lot of chances here to do it... Well, I admit it, we have some robotics subjects here but they are more related to programming than designing ^.-)

in the X8 ending they say that, after jakob incident, they stopped the new generation reploids construction, but after some time, they restarted the production again, because they needed them for the space project. Anyway, I really dont know why new generation reploids were that necesary for space ^^U human beings now are pretty close to make orbital elevators (the project was being studied and now they are trying to get ready to start it, they say that it would be cheaper than the international space station, but they say that they will start in 20 years... that is a bit suspicious, I assume it is because they have no clue of how to produce the wire in large scale) and we haven't reploids yet XD
