Description I have seen so many Oc attempts that fall flat because their strengths overpower the amount of flaws. They would always use an excuse that they couldn't think of any flaws to use and this was born. Voila!

Tell me if it helped you in the comments below.

Update: So recently I discovered that these lists that I made when I was 12 became actually pretty popular, especially on places like Pinterest. That was kind of weird, and I'm really glad that you guys liked these. I may make some updated (as in, better) versions in the future, but for now I'm going to leave this here but be a bit stricter in the sharing.

Reading over this and noticed that assertive was on this list, my only question is why is it considered a character flaw?

Assertive is a pretty controversial trait. Sometimes more confidence can be shown, but other times a person can be more forceful. It is based towards when a person is being more forceful.

If the person is being forceful then its considered aggressive not assertive. Looking through all the negative traits, I realized that aggressive wasn't on the list. Other than that, the list of traits was done rather well.

Oh, by the way, codependent. That's a big flaw right there.

And I've also came up with lustful, tattletale, gluttonous, judgemental, crazy, clingy...

As a novelist, I have to say that every character (even inhuman characters) should have flaws. Because Gary Stus/Mary Sues are freaking stupid/annoying/overrated.

THis is great! I hate it when peoples characters are so freaking good they could kill a demon with a flick of their fingre.

This is going to come in handy for me. I do add flaws to my characters, but I think I tend to use the same ones over and over.

Lol, Shishou has many of those flaws. :C

Highly talented, but impractical, sensitive, angsty, closed off, and reckless.

Does anyone else think of their characters flaws first? xD

Loving this sheet. Though I fail to see how 'Assertiveness' is a flaw. Just my two cents.

Thanks, they get on my nerves too. Especially when I read a lot of published books that have flawless characters that are mindlessly praised.

Very helpful! But I noticed that "spaz" was in there twice.

I noticed that a few days ago, but was too lazy to change it, so I'll do it now.

Love it! It's definitely useful, but I have to point out that "Temper" is on there twice.

Thanks, and I guess I was too tired to notice it since it took me forever. I'll update it now.
