great job! I really dig the shoes, they are very well done. you should try making commercials of shoes such as nike using vector style, might turn out to be very exciting.

great piece, dude.. You've definitely got a talent. The picture as a whole just looks realistic until you look closer and realize it's vector-based. Awesome work.

I love the vector work on your shoes, pants and shirt, very well detailed and toned. Your right arm (on the left side) bugs me though. I hope it's just the jpg compression that makes the vector work look more like photoshop's cutout filter *shivers in disgust*. Maybe it's the tone of colors used... either way, I would revisit that aspect. As for the white outline around headphone jack on the ground, why is it dripping? Does it serve a purpose that I'm not seeing? If it does serve some purpose to telling the story, by all means keep it, but I don't understand it. Also, because you are facing the short side, the side with less room, it feels a little bit unsettling to me. I don't think that's the feeling you want to evoke when they think of your portfolio. hopefully you'll be able to take this up a notch as it's got a good base to work from.

thanks alot for the comments, it's great to see you mentioning the faults on the illustration, this is an old piece done for my old portfolio so it is defenetly lacking some things here and there in it's composition and so on, it was one of the first vectors I did so I truly missed out on somethings about the white dripping line that don't really surve a purpose I guess I was just alot into the whole spray painted thing when I did this so I wanted something to resemble that but more sterialised in a way so I added that dripp...
thanks again

I'll likely stick with my Nike Airs for the mo, but cheers .
The most ironic part of writing this is that your deviation is positioned right next to the commentsbox as I type - congrats on that too, BTW .

Wow. This is a simple piece of art, but also very detailed...I love the lack of solid lines defining the shape of everything. The clothes are really cool. Especially those shoes, I want them! +fav
