I visited a falconer in my area last week to learn more about getting my falconry license. This was Odin her three year old Harris Hawk. I wanted to get more pictures but only ended up with this shot because then she asked if I wanted to land the birds myself

Harris hawks are my favorites; they're such charmers! I'm starting to learn photography myself from my dad. I love this shot; you can see all the details of the Harris' feathers! Odin's a cool name for the Harris
