me and *BoltsBiggestFanEVER were talking about how much TV sucks nowadays...and then I remembered the good old days...the days where I could turn on the TV and laugh at any episode of Spongebob.but now...the new episodes are so annoying and unfunny that I'd rather watch Nick Jr. Seriously I don't understand why they keep going. They are just dry out of ideas. I'm sick of turning on the TV and seeing commercials about yet ANOTHER new set of episodes. Why can't they just do reruns of the old ones? the only reruns I've ever seen are the ones that are kind of new and are not NEARLY as entertaining as the older episodes.
anyway, I just thought I'd make this stamp for anyone out there who agrees with me.

I agree with ya on this subject. When I was little, I thought that the older episodes were stupid, but now I compare them to the newer ones and now I think that the new episodes are just bullshit. I just can't standstand some (most actually) of the new ones because they are just the worst nickelodeon has to offer. Some of the worst episodes of the new ones are a pal for gary, sandcastles in the sand, shell shocked, basically the ones from 2009- early (to mid) 2010. I just wish they would do some kind of 'throwback' with spongebob.... and bring back that classic style...

Aww Shell Shocked, me and my mom are a huge Gary fan because we love cats and when we saw that episode for the first time I wanted to cry, my mom was all like Poor Gary

Well, I kind liked that episode, but I ended up seeing it so many times it was kinda boring to me...
But the worst episode of SB in history has to be the one where spongebob and Patrick travel back in time with mermaid man and barnacle boy to stop man-ray... ahhh what was the name of it I saw my dad watching it like an hour ago...

To me, Spongebob hasn't been the same since the movie (which I personally loved).
After that, to me, the episodes just weren't as fun...

There hasn't quite been a show like the classic SpongeBob SquarePants in a while. The current Cartoon Network trifecta of Adventure Time, Regular Show, and The Amazing World of Gumball just don't have that same classic eleven-minute humor. The show had great world-building in it's early days, unlike now where introducing new (often temporary for just that one episode) locations within and outside Bikini Bottom is often forced and gimmicky with half-hour episode "specials". Even Patchy and Potty where funny.
I would and still kind of wish that they made another episode set in Rock Bottom, but with how it has gone downhill post-Movie, I guess that one episode is okay. Just being one episode in the first season really adds to Rock Bottom's mystique.

I miss the old Patchy and Potty. They made Spongebob look more funnier. Now whenever Patchy and Polly appear in any of the episodes like Truth Or Square, it is just boring.

Yup, it did. It gets better eventually and later on, though the more recent eps aren't as good. It's still decent.
