neva have i seen a picture drawn with more detail or more beauty. This piece captured my attention and held it for a long while. A very moving and breath-taking piece. I love the colours u used to depict ur character. A talent u have somehow managed to gain, which will hold u at the envy of any true artist!

Nothing has made me stare at a piece of artwork so long, to study the steps and gape in awe at the close-up. Your artwork is beyond beautiful, and this piece is my favorite of your entire gallery. I long for that sort of freedom, to stare at the sky without a worry or a care. Beautiful, gorgeous artwork. The lighting is amazing, the clothing is so realistic, and the railroad tracks look as if they are from a photograph. Congratulations on such a breathtaking piece!

This is wicked!!! I love the soft colours used - the unsaturated effect works well, especially with the brighter colour on her scarf! The detail is awesome too! Did you use any reference when painting her shirt? Those knots look really cool!

One more question... what's with those birds tied to her belt?! They look properly morbid!!

Hope she doesn't get run over....

The concept and execution are spectacular. It feels very much like a real painting. I like her clothes too.

beautiful...that's the only word i can find to describe this.
the textures in your coloring are so beautifully done, especially on the rocks and the railroad tracks. the color palette you chose was also wonderfully chosen ^^
all of the little details in this could keep me going forever...from the strands of grass poking up here and there all the way to those birds under the track...which is really sad, but it keeps a mood going through the picture. i really could go on about this for hours, so i will leave my comment at that, and wish you the best of luck with your art. you have an amazing talent here

I've just been staring at this pic in something approaching awe for about five minutes now, so it's got to be a +fav...the detail is amazing, especially the girl's face and clothes, but it's the concept that really gets to me....the title, the railroad tracks, her ambiguous expression, the birds. Genius.

When I first gazed upon 'Falling Sky', I thought it was a picture of a girl standing against a fence; with coal and dirt raining down around her, the ground shaking in something like an earthquake. Then, upon closer inspection (and gazing upon it for about 6 minutes, full view), I discovered the ripples in the once-was-sky and now-water, and then I realized that she was laying down on railroad tracks.

What I really like about this painting is the unison of color. Her skin, shirt, her hair tie her to the white doves, while her jacket and pants tie her to the mud and rocks.

One thing that bugs me about this, however, is that the thinnest part of her waist is as wide as one of her thighs. This may be just me, but I don't think it is possible to be that thin..and if she is, shouldn't her legs be thinner to be in proportion with the rest of her body?

I love how such a strong emotion of inner peacefulness can be portrayed with a simple idea; and how the rocks and mud in the ground makes the whole drawing look as if it has been shaken...lovely.

I really like the hair. It looks very soft; kinda like feathers. I also like the colors you chose. They really work well together. The light and shadow is sooo realistic! The pants! It's just so detailed! The detail on the ground is quite rich as well. Especially those railroad tracks!

I remember back when when I didn't know how to use layers... I had the hardest time drawing and coloring things ><; Drawing something like this with so much detail is AMAZING to me. I am boggled. I need more practice lol~
