May 25th, 2018. Graduation test and Day. This was the day I turned from a boy..to a man! Mario and Luigi were ready to see if I was ready to deal with whatever I was placed in. And I was thinking I was going to deal with ether the perfect run, champions road, or even the darker side of the moon. And all those challenges I thought sounded pretty intense, but manageable givin all that I was taught up to that point. But as Mario and Luigi were about to find the perfect way of testing me in terms of my final exam, Peach was carried away by Bowser's clown copter. Now the good news was that Bowser Jr was off for summer camp at the time, so it wouldn't be bad if me and my papa mario and mama luigi taking the princess back to safety...the bad news was for my final exam before I go on my own was that I had to rescue Princess Peach on my own. Now I went through a NSMB esc adventure on my own, and was able to get this task done in terms of a few hours. The graduation celebration was underway, Luigi was crying since his baby boy was going to go on his own, Mario was trying to comfort Luigi and telling him that I'll be alright on my own, and Peach was giving me a knight like kiss. But I barely paid to much attention to the kiss. It wasn't that I thought the princess was ugly, far from it. But I fear that I may not be able to step foot in Bowsers castle again. Set the clock back 30 minutes ago, about 1:30 pm. I was at the koopa kings castle, the fire breathing turtles keep, and I was met with a chain chomp stuck on its chain, barking at me. Now I assumed it was like most chain chomps, ground pound the stump on the ground, set the chain chomp loss, and the chain chomp will run off scared/happy that it was released. But when I unlocked the chain chomp off of there leash, it spring back and tried to chomp me! Now being scared at this point, I dodged and ran around the room, before seeing that this was no ordinary chain chomp. This chain chomp had Bowser Jr's logo on it, telling me it was Bowser Jr's pet. But I didn't have time to think, sense it backed me up to a corner, more specifically, the edge of the bridge that had boiling hot lava below. Now despite what people will tell you, I don't have extra lives. I have 1-ups to bring myself back into fights like in the rpg titles, but I don't have extra lives. So standing there, scared that the chain chomp was going to tear me to shreds, I had to react perfectly and fast. And so I did. It lunged forward and I slide kicked under the giant ball of doggy like death. Only, I did not plan for the chain chomp to fall into the lava below. As a last ditch effort on saving the chain chomp, I launched myself forward and grabbed the chain. But..it was all in vain since I didn't get a good grip onto the chain, and had to watch the chain chomp burn to death. In shock, I had to keep this dark secret to myself, and moved on to finish the mission of rescuing the princess. Now back to 2:00 pm, I made it home, my teachers and the princess threw a kingdom wide festival in my honor. To be honest..this felt nice. I grown from a Mario Nobody, to my teachers successor. And the festival lasted through the night. But I didn't know that, cause as soon as it was 5:00 pm, it was time for me and my foster parents to part ways. As I stared into the warp pipe that my teachers told me I used when I was a baby, I looked back to my foster parents and mentors. Luigi ran to me and started hugging me, crying a huge storm as I patted his back. He really became Mama Luigi I could guess. Mario was more of the one that took the fatherly role, and patted my shoulder saying..

Mario: "See you next time.."

My eyes drew out tears as I looked back at the ones that raised me, not only as if I was their student, but almost like I grew up like their son. I will charish these memories I had in the mushroom kingdom, and the memories I had with my mama luigi and papa mario. And with that with a final tip of my cap, I jumped into the pipe, going onto my own adventure throughout the known multiverse.
