The map of my Power Rangers' world!

Earth is in a delicate balance between the triple superstates: Totality of Circumcobra, Eastern Dragon Nusantara, and the Coalition of Ocelotal. Each nation has its own teams of Rangers, defending their countries against different enemies for the last decade.

I based this map from George Orwell's 1984. But this isn't a dystopian world. At least, not for all. This is a world that values future generation and the future itself.

The Totality is like a combination of Third Reich and Soviet Union, but with a more tolerant government, the color red is appropiate. Its symbol is a cobra holding a fleur-de-lis. The pale yellow is the Eastern Dragon Nusantara, an empire based in Hongkongpura with a strange culture that is the mixture of Chinese, Japanese, and Indonesian. Imagine a samurai sword with a Chinese dragon-shaped handle and decorated with batik pattern. The last, with ironic peaceful green color, is the Coalition of Ocelotal. This is the great slaver empire in style of the Domination of the Draka. They see themselves as the future inheritors of Earth and thus, never trust other powers, even the Rangers team.

This world is somewhat an alternate history, although I didn't do that part seriously. It differs form our Earth from the times of Puritans in mid 1600s. Here, the religious group went into exodus to New England and established a large colony which then called Cromwellia after their leader (Oliver Cromwell). After a long history and instability, a new revolution happened in Cromwellia. That will be the beginning of the most hated nation on Earth.

In early 19th century, Cromwellian archeologists uncovered the Mayan and Aztec ruins in central America. The discovery started of craze to Mesoamerican cultures that eventually became so powerful that the group, The Sons of Xolotl, took over power. They applied many of Aztec cultures to Cromwellia, including the pyramid building and then, slavery. The new Cromwellians finished the conquest of Spanish Empire's colonies and entire America by 1851. The conquest of Africa was completed in the next five decades. The Fireball War in 1911-1920 cemented the formation of the current world. The ensuing Cold War and Space Race ensured that that tech level here is about a century ahead of ours, in 1951.

Now the three powers realise that war won't be the solution, so they made world peace through the Power Rangers teams, here called as Gardas (Optimation in Ocelotal). But while the Rangers have defeated many enemies within the last 10 years, today they all will face a new one, which they may unable to defeat...
