Did you know that the prototype for Mixels was originally called "Monsters"? They were much different from what we actually got. They were much smaller and made out of less pieces. There were also four members of a tribe instead of three. There isn't much information out there about Monsters, but a pre-release trailer was found containing prototype designs for the Infernites and the Glorp Corp (The Infernites were known as the Flamers, and the name for the Glorp Corp tribe is unknown).

There were also screenshots of Electroid and Cragster designs as well, but the brand was quickly transformed into Mixels not long after its creation.
