11 January, 2012: Added region map and title text!
3 January, 2011: Full template revamp! With new type icons and boxes large enough for the new 96x96 pixel limit! Now I think it has a flatter, more "dex-like" feel. I also tried to make the type icons more interesting to look at instead of just "type color + shiny button". My favorites are bug and flying!
Oh also, if the fakemon's name has a blue or pink background, that means it is either male or female exclusive.
Several sprites with minor tweaks; revamped sprites for Aclairion (!!!), Seraphiel, Harmonia and Tanana; reveal of Belialethe; and planned revamp of Skyvern (who was too large).
17 August, 2009: added a lot of revamped sprites icluding: Kitglow, Finlet, Raccendage, Dandilee, Trikkum, Gatito, Aqitty, Sparkitty and Flaqitty!
9 April, 2009: revamped Flaminguru sprite!

There are currently 94 fakemon, with planned concepts (blank boxes) to make 99.
Currently, a lot of sprites are getting revamped, so new concepts are put on pseudo-hold right now, although there might be new ones randomly. But right now I am mostly revamping.
Don't steal them!! Or else. >:[
And if you already have in the past, shame on you.
The layout goes:
- general dex
- evos/prevos of existing pokemon
- supporting legendary trio
- main legendary trio and the region's two main legends
Concept credit for Subby and Ubote go to Hark.
Several names credited to the members of CSpriting (Jake, THE shadow, and others)(if you helped and would like to be listed just contact me)
Type icons are made by me, so you can use them for random projects if you like, but please give credit/link back to here!

I haven't really given much time to the concept as of late, but basing it on the bird of paradise would be very fitting, so I imagine the final product will probably have something to do with it! :]

...That being said, some of the fakemon in this dex aren't exactly my cup of tea, and the existence of a light-type kind of irritates me. None of these things detract from the overall quality of the pixelart, though.

I think I was trying to redesign Leaflin and accidentally ended up with that (it makes sense, I promise).
I was in the middle of drawing out a new concept, but I didn't like it so I turned it upside down and looked at it from that perspective, trying to make a drawing fit; it was a weirdly effective method?

Also I was curious as to where you learned to do your epic artwork. Was it tutorials or school that taught you to be sooooo good with photoshop/illustrator? Or are you self taught?

I don't think I'll ever get back into spriting like I was... three or four years ago; I think this project is the only thing I would want to work on. So as long as there are blank spaces in the dex and sprites I'd like to improve (which are quite numerous) I will keep my.. however you would describe my current relationship with spriting xD
Well, my efficiency with PS is "self-taught" I guess, I mean I've been using it for 6-7 years... but drawing techniques and stuff like that are byproduct of practice, classes (i'm pretty sure university helped me improve several times over), and trying to copy what other artists do. and I suck at using Illustrator so um lol, can't say much about that! xD

This is INSANELY impressive and inspiring!! (Proof of your spriting godliness)! I think my favorite ones are Vestuvis and Tortice, they have very creative designs and you shaded the ice wonderfully! But of course, I'm in love with all of them, so they're "favoites" by a small margine, hahaa.
I hope you finish it off soon, I'm excited to see the missing sprites!

Well, the thing about their use in forum RPGs is that I only let people I know fairly well (and usually these people had input into the creative process/critiquing) to use them, so they've only been used in two or three (I think all of them are defunct now though..). And since RPGs are based on members and visitors, it would allow them one more draw to offer along with all their other work.
With fangames, I think that the experience and technical process for the makers is more valuable than getting a product out to a wide audience, so the sprites you're using don't make much of a difference in that. I don't know much about the fangame realm though.

I actually haven't designed it, I just thought of a good name for it and decided I should make one.
I've also seen ones with fists as tails and I'm not all that partial to that solution either, so I am interested in seeing mine too! xD

These are pretty awesome. Just a few things seem off.
Elaire might look better with its arms a bit shorter.
Raccony should have another evolution before it gets so cool looking.
The telegogo seems like it has too many evolutions. I think it could do without one of the first two.
There are some other things that seem kinda strange, but damn. You make some really great sprites!
