Oh ... I can`t believe what I`m seeing ... I never believed that an angel can be created by a human hand ... but now I see the idea of a painter of angels was brought to life ... And it looks wonderful

there is something extremely arousing about the arch of the artists' brow
so i'll be a bit generic and say escher jumped into my head the moment I saw this

Beautiful work. I love the light and the texture of the artists skin. It makes me wonder what he's gazing at, whether an angel already exists for him to paint...

I am curious as to whether or not that depiction of 'the Artist' is your likeness. Either way, I love seening cliches broken. Well done.

I was going to make a suggestion about adding something to show how the angel is held up on the board, but on further investigation, he is arising out of it. I should've known.
