She's not a nerd, but she finds science relaxing, because she can understand it. Her home life is kind of dreary - her father, a Janitor at the local university, works double shifts to support her after her mother and he were separated. Brittney tries hard to work extra jobs to help out, but it makes her relationship with her best friend, Amanda, pretty strained.

Also, she was sad because she was flat-chested. But now she isn't. So that's one problem solved. Let's not get into the whole new slew of troubles she's found herself in, though.
