yes, that are real ladybugs and that was real chaos!army of ladybugs is just a disaster, they run, they fly, they tickle
i had to ask my friend *schnishna to help in collecting and organizing bugs, without him i couldn't do this shot, thankies *schnishna !

these look more like asian lady beetles...not lady bugs...
the beetles smell horrid and not only bite, but I believe they kill actual lady bugs.

WOW, that took guts, to stand there with bugs crawling all over you. great photo. nice lighting and the way that the bugs are positions demonstrated movement. it's a great piece of art in my opinion.
