Chatty, sociable, and rather common further south, these middling-sized dragons congregate in great colorful swarms to take advantage of seasonal fruits as they ripen in waves. Fantails have a strange, ingrained respect for bright things, and naturally look to the most colorful member of their flock as a leader. In a similar fashion, the male that makes the most colorful nest full of shiny baubles wins over the most mates, which is its own struggle because males do all the brooding and rearing, while females defend the nest with precise jets of acid.
