My Universal OC Cain in a revamped version of his "normal" demon form. I have some older pictures of him (In my OC Story Folder) where his demon form looks ALOT like Ulquiorra's Segunda Etapa form from Bleach but I decided to change him up a bit.

Cain (Last name varying between stories) is my Universal OC (I tend to use a variation of his character in all of my ideas, normally as the main character but sometimes as a lesser character such as in my Bleach story in which he is a Shinigami).

In the majority of the stories I use him in he is a human-turned demon/vampire/god-like creature who was given his powers and new existence from a Transcendential entity known by Cain as Baskervilles [link]

I created Cain many years ago, and ever since then hes been my favorite character and has actually helped me through alot.

The Main story/idea i've been working on/thinking of for years takes place in a world very similar to our own. In it when a person dies their soul is transported to another plain of existence and are separated between those lesser souls and special souls which for one reason or another are "greater" then the others, these "greater" souls ascend into what are known as Transcendial Spirits (More info on this process here [link] ) which are what we would believe are "gods" without physical form. The only way for such an entity to be created is for the special human soul to have fulfilled their "purpose" during their human life before they die, whatever it might have been.

During his human life Cain was a "Potential" for becoming a Transcendial unknowingly to him (Well, unknowingly to everyone, its not like people are aware of such things in my story) his purpose was to protect his girlfriend whom he was very deeply in love with. One day while crossing the road with her while in the city a car came out of no where. It almost hit her but Cain pushed her out of the way, sacrificing himself to save her (and completing his purpose).
His soul WOULD have normally transported to the afterlife to ascend but at the same time of his death the Transcendial Baskervilles (for reasons that I wont tell yet) ripped through the dimensional walls (something which was supposed to be impossible) and into Cain's Body, which also trapped Cain's soul within it as well.

Cain was seemingly "dead" and his body was buried. Over the course of several days Cain's body and soul were actually fusing with Baskerville's essence and on the 6th night after his death he rose from his grave, he was now no longer human but something far greater.

The main plot of the beginning of the story centers around Cain adjusting to his new powers and existence, and the world becoming aware of him and having to learn to adjust to Him.

After awhile it becomes clear that Cain isn't the only "supernatural" thing out there, and that there are Demons, Vampires, Werewolves and even beings akin to Angels in the world whom have kept their identities hidden for years, but now that Cain has made the world aware of his existence many of them view him as a threat to their own ways of life and will stop at nothing to see him dead.

There is also the Ragnarok Organization, a secret agency whom has been around for hundreds of years and have known about the supernatural forces, having been using their technology to battle them over the ages. Now they see Cain as their main target and develop weapons and even attempted clones (Using Cain's own Blood and DNA) in order to destroy him.

Powers & Abilities:

True Immortal: Cain is what is known as a True immortal, as far as I know. He cannot be truly killed, but he CAN be defeated (Though not easily). He doesn't age, and isn't effected by our known diseases. Drugs have no effect on him unless they are fused with his blood, which can be turned into a weapon and used against him by the Ragnarok, as with our weapons; Guns and weapons of that sort usually don't even slow him down, but the R.O. eventually develops guns that can harm him by using his DNA to make the ammunition.

Regeneration: This is somewhat of a continuation of the above paragraph. Cain has ungodly regeneration abilities. He can regrow any amputated body part (though regeneration of vital organs/his head take alot longer, and will definitely disable him for a good amount of time). Even if his entire body is seemingly destroyed the tiny "Baskerville Cells" within his body CANNOT be destroyed. If his body is destroyed the cells will seek the nearest corpse (whether it be animal or human) and seep into it and use it as a host to grow a new body out of. This may sound like somewhat of a ridiculous ability, it is, but its far from perfect. The time is takes him to regenerate from such severe injuries such as full body destruction can take anywhere from weeks to months or even years, and if one were to somehow trap the Baskerville cells and keep them from reaching a new corpse he would be unable to regenerate.

Shapeshifting: One of Cain's most used abilities is that of shape shifting. He is able to transform into a variety of different forms to suit his needs such as that of a child or to change his gender and take on the form of a woman or just to change his look. He is also able to transform into more powerful forms to use in battle such as the one above which is his MAIN demon form, when he releases a portion of Baskerville's soul and fuses with it. He is also able to transform only certain parts of his body, such as increasing his muscle mass or sprouting wings for flight or claws.
Another form he is able to take is that of a gigantic black wolf and also a werewolf-like form. Later on he will learn to take on even more powerful forms. I will have them in the future.

Super human strength/Speed: Even in his base "Human" form Cain has immense super human strength. He is able to do feats such as throwing full sized cars, stop a speeding semi-truck and toss around opponents much larger then him without much difficulty. He is also extremely fast, able to increase his speed to the point where the human eye can't even follow.

Super Human sense: All of his sense are enhanced to amazingly levels, such as sight, hearing, smell and others.

Weaknesses:

In the beginning Cain doesn't seemingly have any weaknesses, but over the course of the story that proves to be incorrect. While compared to human's he seems invincible he eventually starts to run into other supernatural forces, some of which can give him a run for his money.
One of his main weaknesses comes from the Ragnarok Organization, who (After collecting samples of his DNA from areas where he had previously battled) have learned to use his own power against him to create weapons that can damage him, and ways to imprison him.

I shall have more information soon.

(Special Notes: Wow, so this is alot different then how he used to look, I also drew him really buff lol! His wings were supposed to be bat/demon-like, but somewhere along the line while drawing this I decided to give him dark angel-like wings instead. I also decided to get rid of his horns, but he'll have them once I come out with higher forms in the future.
I need to make a background for this.. eventually.. also, I know he doesnt have eyebrows, thats part of his demon form, similar to SSJ3 Goku)
