Mine did too, but it Latvia. (also some in russia) He also lived in concentration/work camps for a while. My mother went to one or two of these summer camps too, also in Latvia. It was a hard time wasn't it?

My father never went to the gulag, but a few of my grandfathers did. I wrote a research paper on it once. the whole part with the summer-camps though, my father and his brother and other people in my family ('cept me and my siblings) did it.

It was a hard time. It got better though, thank god.

Oh.... well my dad is super old. He's 77 and I'm 14 so it's kinda wierd if you think about it. Well, my dad did go to a lot of camps when he was younger.

Yeah. I figured your dad might be older than mine. My dads like….40 or 50ish. so did mine.
