Description
My latest desktop with a Tech look. (Full View Recommended)The Fututristic Clock looks great and actually isn't as abstract as it looks. Each arc inside it has a defined function! For example it shows Drive's free space, CPU stats(for each core), Ram, Now playing, and Time obviously! XD
The application I used is called rainmeter. It's Latest version has a default Theme known as Enigma, which was used and modified here by me for my resolution and style.
The Wallpaper is Static Rhythm and can be found here : [link]
(Dizorb is an amazing website with quality wallpapers for any resolution)
P.S. (For script kiddies only) I have a Dynamic IP, so you can't Hack into my system with the above IP

I like the mod to the bar to make it horizontal. I might do that.
And while your IP may change whenever the modem goes off and on.... mine seems to change randomly. XD
One minute I see ads for the city next to mine, next minute I see ads for a city about 50 kilometers away.

That seems weird.. As the IP leasing cannot be random and follows specific rules set by the ISP.
Also, random changes might cause network problems.

Come to think of it, we do get network problems every so often, but at least it's harder to track me... so s'all good.

i meant it should not be random as that would cause problems.. my network has no problems.. as when the Ip is about to expire the modem automatically sends new IP lease request beforehand thus preventing any slowdown..
and yeah! being harder to track is definitely a plus ( Note: the ISP's keep logs and big players can find us with it's help)

I don't do anything that the big players, as you put them, would disapprove of (or care to come after me for. ) I'm more worried about the little guys.

pretty smart with the dynamic ip... how often does it change?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
art-io In reply to bob23646 [2010-06-29 07:52:30 +0000 UTC]
changes whenever my modem is switched on/off.. my ISP leases a dynamic IP after every login(PPPOE).

how often do you turn it on/off?

art-io In reply to bob23646 [2010-06-29 20:14:56 +0000 UTC]
Whenever i feel like or need to (example - after i posted this screenshot ).
Also, there is a lease period for each IP after which it is renewed automatically.. not so sure whether the new IP is same as older.

oh. do you have a domain name so that you dont gotta know your ip each time it changes?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
art-io In reply to bob23646 [2010-06-30 05:59:56 +0000 UTC]
I'll Explain you my network configuration :
My pc is connected to a Router which assigns Local IP each time using DHCP server which is connected to a modem which uses PPPOE service to login to my ISP. Whenever my Modem is switched on, it sends login request to ISP servers and an IP lease request. The External IP is something like 122.177.xxx.xxx.So I don't need to know the IP(either local or external) as my is PC auto-configured each time as i'm using PPPOE.
