Sometimes only the eyes can tell a story that the lips cannot...Our eyes tell a story within each one of us. The story of experience, fear, love and everything that has been, is and might be. They hold our hopes, wishes and dreams close while trying to escape the torment of our regrets and mistakes that the mind won't allow us to forget or forgive. Closing our eyes doesn't make anything go away. Opening our eyes and acceptance of what is will change our lives for the better to live in the heaven that life has to offer at any given moment.
Eyes are the portals to our soul, and our present state of being. The only way to hear what they say is by silencing our minds' judgments, critism and opinions to take the time to listen with our soul through our hearts.

When I look at this I think: "hmmmmmmmm........." which, is a great thing! Any piece making me really stop to think and really consider its subject matter is great, and rare too, rather than it just being a 'fine shot' or a 'beautiful portrait' I think it goes a bit deeper.. more cerebral than that "surface-scratching" that so frequently occurs in some art.. I wonder what your stories are behind those eyes haha

Amazing emotion in the shot! Her face tells so much. The only thing I can whine about is the darkness on the right, the light from her face just goes from well lit to dark, I usually think gradients work better in black and white shots. Either way I love the capture

thank you! yeah i see what you're saying. i think its because of the scarf i was wearing over my head was covering that part of my face so it cast a shadow. plus that day was a bit overcast...thank you for the tip maybe i can touch it up a bit in ps!
