Second ever picture of Pollux as an adult. This is plain ol cheap cake watercolor on plain ol sketchpad paper, I tried Nestly's technique of adding highlights over it with digital and I kinda like how it came out. Unfortunately my scanner has stopped talking to my computer, so I had to take a crappy picture with my cellphone. No he does not have a real mane yet, his neck fluff and his head fluff are the same color and merge together and I wasn't terribly cautious with anatomy on either of these paintings... just sketch once and go straight to paint, because watercolor of any kind isn't very forgiving. When I do give him a real mane... the difference will be significant.
I plan to give Pollux an upgrade tracker but I haven't done it quite yet.
