Description
Shot this at Spittalfields Market in East London, in a shop which sells various kinds of ethnic/new age/middle eastern type ornaments (to generalise somewhat). Pretty dark in there and no tripod as usual so I had to stick to wide apertures and chance it with the shutter speeds.Spittalfields Market, London, November 2002

I like this photo a lot, mainly because of the out of focus foreground which draws your attention to his hand and middle torso. You did an fabulous job on this and as usual the b&w is superb!

I'd have to agree with p0m that it'd be nice to see the head in focus... But I still like the shot overall. The lighting and shadows make the blurred areas still recognizable, and kind of soothing to just stare at.

Me liky.. I wish you had a bit less shallow DOF though. (would love the top of the head to be crisp). Works great in b&w too.
