Everything about this is meant to be somewhat creepy, from the way only one eye shines, the spectral butterflies to the headstone-shaped background. Harlow’s story is meant to be filled with attractive and unconventionally cute (hence why I don’t want to get too realistic artistically) characters to offset an equally attractive, but ominous atmosphere. Yet beneath all that is a story about hard-fought-for friendships, relationships based on mutual respect and trust, and all the while Harlow enjoying the thrill of a haunting adventure.
