When all things go not right, we go left, or uh... make a portrait.

In this case a Rarity. In a blend style of 'To where the days take us ' and 'Apply Rain'

Spend the day attempting human Rainbow Dash (Kotobukiya style), but too much unfamiliar ground, requires a bit more study and practice, so I switched over to more familiar and simpler ground. The portrait with barely any bust.

The anatomy sculpting in this type of stuff is a bit more smooth, relaxing. More room for error and random takes.

And eh, I hadn't really made Rarity like this before. Her colours are often quite a different take than Applejack's. The brighter coat as opposed to mid range orange, and darker mane as opposed to bright blonde.

Oh and horn lol, but just stick that on and ya good to go right?

Anyhow, the strong rim light also just feels like a quick easy but strong result. Bit of those photo elements. Honestly such a stark contrast with the deeper complexity of classical painting aesthetic. Maybe it's the photo part in "PHOTOshop" eh?
