can I add an design improvement?
How about adding 4 eye-bolts at the base of the palm so that the string runs along the palm thus not getting in the way of whatever the hand is holding.
Also, how bout a piece of glass or any clear material set over said palm-running string for an internal-mechanics-type view

yeah, me too, this is actually the final piece I was looking for an original cosplay of mine, I needed an oversized mechanical hand, and good God this is perfect, course I need to add over sized fingertips, like the Gurren MK.2 from Code Geass
