absolutely perfect! i'm a huge predator fan and this is one of the best i've seen. i usually like pictures where he's wearing the mask, but the detail here makes up for that.

One of my favorite characters of all is The Predator, and I have seen many a fan artwork but this one has to be the best one I have seen up to now..

You captured the predator PERFECTLY. Your lines are defined and smooth and you got all of the details right. It looks like finished, professional comic art! A truly accurate rendition. I thank you for sharing it, I've stared at it for quite awhile now! What did you use for reference?
I have a predator drawing that I've been thinking about putting on here, but it's unfinished. It's only unshaded pencil work on watercolor paper because I wanted to paint it. Then I realized I did all this detail and my skills with watercolor are no-where near good enough to ruin all of the work I'd already put into it. Now I'm thinking I'll just transfer it to regular paper and shade it B&W instead. Oh, well! You have inspired me so I really think I'll do that now! Thanks again! Fantastic work!

I think you should put up your Pred as it is (yes, encourage others color it!!) then put up your alterations so people can have a comparison. Hurry, I can't wait to see it.

Maybe I should put my Predator up un-shaded first, and let people play with it on photoshop to color it! I'd LOVE to see what some of these talented color artists could do with it! THEN I'd shade it B&W. Whatchoo think?

I use Faber-Castell and Sanford Turquoise drawing pencils, and regular mechanical pencils, with all kinds of leads. The hardest lead I use is 9H and the softest black is 6B. As for the blackness shown here, some of it is just how it scanned in (you can see around the neck of his shirt the actual pencil scrub.) Trust me, it's not pure black. I'm not that good ^_^

I honestly don't remember how long it took me. Probably around 8 hours. This is one I'm planning on doing in color, everyone seems to like it so much. I'm just trying to decide if I want to redraw and watercolor it, or Photoshop it. I really want to color it by hand, I'm just so short on time. You know how it is. But no matter what I do, don't worry, I'll upload it here and you'll see it. I'm flattered someone who does comics as well as yourself liked this. ^_^

Wow, you spared nothing in this. What gets me are the textures, especially the shine. Really incredible that this is done with pencil, especially since it gets so black, almost like it's more like charcoal or something. It's still the shine that gets me though, especially in the hand-knife-things. Incredible.
