Yes, its me on the picture, and NO, it have NO manipulation at all. Its a picture i made to myself, and the spider is real, but its obvioulsy dead. Camera: Nikon Coolpix 990. Light: Spot ARRI 1000 W.

the web also picks up vibrations, alloying the spider to know when something or someone is comming so it can hide or attack..

wow! the emotion in your eyes. This scene looks so real. The lighting is stunning and creates shadows that realy add another dimention and help build fear to the piece.
definately deserves a +fav!
thsi piece also inspires and motivates me as I also have a Nikon Coolpix but most photos I see that impress me with the sharpness of the image are with very top of the range cameras but this one proves it can be done on a buget. Thanks!

this picture is AMAZING. i myself adore spiders... as long as they arent really on me. i'll happily chase them, catch them in a jar, and name them. but... maybe not put them or anything. even the big "owner friendly" ones like that one on your face i'm not keen on touching.

I have this intense, crippling fear of spiders... This picture is just amazing. I shudder everytime I give it a look. It's very rare for a photo to send chills down my spine like this does.

Spiders are awesome creatures!!!! Not only do they get rid of bugs, tarantulas have a super nifty hydraulic sort of system in their body that allows them to stay completely motionless for weeks!
I miss having a Rose Hair, he was really cool..
I do hope you didn't kill the spider just for this shot. If not good job it's cool!
