Description An extremely overdue gift to a friend.

I am getting through my backlog finally!

I used to watch this stupid show on the Disney Afternoon back in the day...

Nostalgia time:
Back here in Sweden, instead of Disney Afternoon, we had something called "Disneydags" (Disneytime) that usually showed on friday/saturday-evenings around 18.00.
I remember, after a long week at school, just relaxing in the couch and tuning into some awesome 80's/90's Disney shows.

Those were the days... TT_TT

Aww yeah, for me it was Saturday afternoon, which used be the dead zone... and when more than half your year is winter it's even worse.

Luckily fun stuff like this eventually made it on TV

The very first episode I seen from this show was the final episode. Old crappy VHS tape too. lol
Still remember that Chip-Chip-Chip- and Del theme song.

Man oh man, I used to see this on TV all the time, it seemed like it was around for a while but it only ran for a couple years really. Weird!

It's funny today this came so easy.

I hate days like today, 'cause later I'll try doing the same thing and it won't work hahaha ahhh

Hah thats part of the fun sometimes. Once something becomes your average standard you just seek to go to the next level. So makes you happy when something seems to come out better than you expect.

That's the truth! I find when I'm happy about what I'm doing I start to look for different things to try and it all starts over again!

That show was great too... ahh late 80s Disney stuff was crazy

Plus it had Seaplanes. *grin*

Interestingly:
Porco Rosso 1992
Tale Spin 1990
Tales of the Gold Monkey 1982
Each was inspired by the one before. (I also found out they are doing Porco Rosso 2)

Haha, nice

Loooooooved Poroc Rosso... I'm not so sure about a sequel, I guess we'll see!

That's cool though, thanks for letting me know

I had no idea until I went to look up the date on IMDB (I had heard about the actual inspiration before, when some idiots got it backwards and insisted that Disney HAD to be ripping off Ghibli because they hate Disney and Love Ghibli).

Did you ever notice the resemblance between the place the pig holed up and Cape Suzette? It was the same except on a smaller scale.

Well, I know that Miyazaki based his film off a comic he wrote in the late 80s, from what I understand is they influenced each other to a degree?

I could be wrong, I never really thought about it.
