Well, we've had bigger venues as well in the past. The spacing for this was pretty average.
The tightest I ever saw it was back in 2002 or so, that was freakin' elbow to elbow (and everyone had CRTs in those days)

Yeah, I didn't go to that one haha the year after that I went was much better, way more people but a bigger venue.

Yeah for years we used to run Fraga at the Mayfield Inn Convention Centre, they had a restaurant in the hotel but we'd always go to the peelers across the street for a cold one in the afternoon LOL
After a few years they figured out that there was a huge nerd convention going on every summer and the girls would wear superhero/anime outfits hahaha

Well, to give you a little history we started at the Municipal airport in a hanger (and that was HOT), I only visited them once while they were in there.
Then they moved to the Mayfield in 2001 and it was ok, but over time they were charging more and imposing more rules on us so in 2008 we found a new temporary venue at the Northlands Sportex, then in 2009 we moved to the DOW Centennial Center in Fort Saskatchewan then finally in 2010 we moved it to the Leduc Recreation Center in Leduc.
I can't say enough good things about the LRC and the City of Leduc in general, they are the best.
