It's a brisk fall morning, and Amber finds herself waiting for Tina so they can go on a morning jog. The cyborg collie wonders where the little mouse could be. She lets out a yawn, then decides to do some stretches to keep herself awake while waiting.

One thing I like to do these days is look at other artists and study how they draw. Kikurage has some very cute art and gives his furry girls a real sense of...mass. They don't feel like flat images on paper. Granted, a lot of his art is adult oriented, but you can still learn a lot from how he and others approach drawing the figure.

After doing a study based on one of his cute doggos, I decided to draw my cute doggo. And I think she turned out quite nicely. I'm starting to think that green is Amber's color at this point. It goes well with her fur colors. And it matches her eyes...which you can't see here.
